synopsis

October 1973 – Yom Kippour. Through the guidance of Tamar, a liaison officer with whom he has a relationship, Shaï finds himself in command of a military operation. He must get the men to safety and save his wounded brother, Mikka. Under threat from Egyptian commandos, while accompanying Mikka across the Sinaï desert, Shaï is plagued by the “thousand yard stare”, a specific type of post-traumatic shock….
